Happy summer, friends!

In honor of the first day of the best season of the year, I opted for this simple boho look. Especially in preparation for the rising temperatures, I wanted to stick to loose clothing to bring in the breeze. Anyways, so I'm a sucker for flea markets. Maybe it's the tons of street vendors lined up on either side, the crazy and unique things you can find, the ridiculously cheap prices, or the simple fact that it's outdoors under the summer sun, but whatever it is, I always manage to check them out as part of my annual summer adventures. This year, my finds included top for just $8 and cross earrings for $2 so of course, I had to find some way to show these treasures off. I paired the light top with striped high waisted shorts to add patterns to this simple outfit and kept the colors to a minimum with accented gold accessories.

I've been spending my summer days adventuring around Jersey and New York, finding the next best outdoor activity to experience. It's a great way to catch up with friends and take advantage of our youths, and definitely beats lolling around the house. Anyways, I hope you're enjoying these days off as well in this beautiful weather!
