Welcome back to the second look my Valentine's Day series!
Yesterday, I styled a look for a classy date night (here). But today, I'm going for a different look. Maybe you won't be spending your Friday evening at a fancy place. Maybe you'll be out and about with your girls for a fun night out while still looking stylishly cool. Well, that's what today's look is going for. A bold red blazer (because I promised I was incorporating red somehow in each look) to stand out in is the perfect way to enjoy your Valentine's Day festivities. It looks fun and flirty while being bold and fierce. I paired it with one of my favorite purchases this season: the black jumpsuit. You probably recognized it from this post of my NYE series but it's just so versatile, dressed up or down, so I brought it out again for this occasion. The lace detail added some texture to the all black and red look while the cheetah print skinny belt added a bit of pattern while cinching my waist to keep my shape. And for funsies, I threw on my aviator sunnies to keep the fierce look. I just love how bold the red is in this outfit so I really wanted to keep the dynamic looking hot--perfect for your fun night out.
Just because you'd rather spend Valentine's Day with your girls doesn't mean you can't look hot!
So this is look two of my Valentine's Day series! Come back tomorrow for a whole different look for whatever you have planned for Friday night :)
Hearts and kissies,
Mai Sunshine
Style Tip: Adding a patterned skinny belt will break up the huge color block since red and black are both both colors. But keep your details to a minimum so you don't take away from the vibrant red color.
