Sunday Strolls

I rarely go home for the weekend to spend time with my sister and when I do, we're usually both too lazy to go anywhere so we end up stuffing ourselves with excessive amounts of junk food and watch endless movie marathons. But this past weekend, it was just too gorgeous outside not to take advantage of the beautiful weather. We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Hoboken on a Sunday afternoon, basked in the warm sun, indulged in Crumbs cupcakes, and shot some photos here and there. I can't get enough of this town, and I'm a huge sucker for cobblestone streets. So you'll know where to find me when summer rolls around!
I decided to put together something cute and girly because I don't know about you but when it's nice out, I just want to wear skirts and dresses and spend a little extra time on getting ready. It's too nice out to waste a perfect day! And in spring, I like to change up my wardrobe's color palette and stick to lighter, brighter colors. In this look, I wanted to pair this light, airy white top with my gray skater skirt for a girly flare, but I threw on an oversized structured blazer for some color and a classy touch while the flats added a bit of print to the outfit. It's a great Sunday look for a nice stroll in the spring weather.
