NYFW. The coveted event of the year where fashion gurus, socialites, and elites gather in the most stylish city donning the latest in designer wear. A week of back-to-back shows and photography madness where creativity and talent are thriving with energy. And I got to experience it all this year.

Attending NYFW has always been a goal of mine as a newcomer blogger and fashion enthusiast. I've been to a show or two, a couple of presentations here and there, but this year, I had the opportunity to fully indulge in the fashion mayhem and immerse myself in the adrenaline. I feel like I've reached a huge milestone in my blogging career and I couldn't be more proud of myself for making it this far. But it wasn't the trekking around the city in painful heels catching shows and presentations while squeezing photoshoots in between that enhanced my highly anticipated experience. It was the RSVP'ing to invitations, receiving an assigned seat, sitting front row before the fresh runway across fellow fashion fiends, being asked to take photos of by fashion photographers--all the random acts that validated my presence at NYFW's adventure made me feel a sense of assurance and confidence in my work. It made me absolutely certain that this was the world I chose and I undoubtedly reveled in its moments. I loved every New York minute of it and my past's hard work and efforts directed me to this very instant. The best part is, it's only just the beginning and I am even more determined and excited to divulge myself more into opportunities like these...maybe even earn an entire week's worth of shows and events.
