So here's another nostalgic post from my Cali vacation even though it's already the second week of school for me. I have a few more posts from Cali because I just had to take advantage of my time there and get enough shoots in before I left. And because the weather is still nice and hot enough, I figured these outfits were still appropriate. By the way, shout outs to all the lucky people who got to experience NYFW. I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly jealous of everyone who had that opportunity. Please trade places with me.

Anyways, I've been eyeing a simple bowler hat all summer to play up my wardrobe and I didn't want to pay almost $30 for one so my go-to place for simple items? Ebay. You'd be surprised how efficient and reliable Ebay can be for such basic items that retailers like to jack up prices for. I mean, sure it's like an extra week or so wait than usual online orders would take but definitely worth the save. It's a cute hipster accessory for any outfit, in my opinion. Reminds me of those coffee shop artists...anyways, I'm always a hat person so I was pretty excited to incorporate this one into my wardrobe!

OH! And guess where these cool, one-of-a-kind shorts are from? The awesome people behind Midnight Marauders. It's an online second-hand clothing store specifically selected by the founder, Amira Rasool. The idea behind this online store is to conveniently provide shoppers thrifted clothing without the hassle of sifting through all the clothes at the thrift store. It takes the thrifting experience to a whole new level. Be sure to check them out for unique pieces! Thanks Amira for reaching out to me, I appreciate the support :)

Cheers to making it to the second week of school,

Style Tip: A denim jacket adds color and texture to any outfit, especially with outfits that have minimal colors. In this one, I added it to play up the dark colors of the hat and shorts while keeping me warm on those breezy days
