Third look of my NYE Countdown series! Which means 3 more days until New Year's Eve so start deciding you're outfits now! And luckily for you, I've made it a little simpler with various looks you can go for depending on the NYE party you'll attend.
My past two outfits have had obvious sequins for my friends who love sparkling and shining on NYE. But this look is not as loud and more on the sophisticated, classy side. It's for those who are more low-key and want to stick to a simple look. And it's especially for those who aren't big on dresses and short shorts. Black jumpsuits are a great alternative to both that easily be dressed up for formal events or even dressed down to wear casually. I've actually seen a number of black jumpsuits making their way into this season as a holiday trend so I'm glad I decided to buy this for $20 at Urban Outfitters's Black Friday sale. I love the simple cut that fits nicely without losing my shape. Since jumpsuits are one pieces, you have to make sure you don't lose your waist and curves underneath. I also love the lace detailing at the V-cut--a little sexy while still staying classy. I paired it with this $10 blazer I got at H&M. This type of blazer is very sophisticated with its unique cut, especially with the very subtle gold texture. It worked perfectly with the romper to lighten up the look. And of course, it isn't the holidays if we don't add in our red accents :)
This was look #3 of my NYE outfits. Can't wait to show you tomorrow's NYE look as we countdown to New Year's Eve day!
Til tomorrow,
Mai Sunshine
Style tip: Generally with sleeveless jumpsuits, I like to wear a blazer or cardigan on top to balance out the outfit since it can get heavy on the bottom half otherwise.
