So if you've been following my Instagram, littlemaisunshine (and if you're not, you should be!), you probably recognize this outfit from a few weeks ago. I wore this to my very first NYFW event, but more importantly, this was the outfit I wore when I met the Song sisters! Probably the coolest thing I've experienced as a fashion blogger so far, and quite synonymous to an aspiring singer meeting Beyonce to give you an idea. They're so inspiring and to think you can actually make a career out of blogging! Anyways, you can only imagine how much I was fangirling inside while trying to remain cool. And to experience NYFW for the first time was a pivotal moment in my blogging career. I guess you can say this outfit has a lot of sentimental meaning behind it.
I'm pretty much obsessed with this jumpsuit if you haven't already noticed (from my Valentine's Day post here and NYE post here). I just love finding new ways of wearing it and playing it up or down. Here, I decided to see how many layers I could wear on top of it without losing its style. I mean I am a sucker for layering all things and mixing textures. I thought overlaying with a maroon blouse and then throwing a tweed/jersey combo jacket over gave the jumpsuit a nice balance in both colors and textures. But I made sure to wear my favorite skinny belt to keep from losing my shape under so many layers. It was also a nice touch of cheetah print. I also love how the lace of the jumpsuit peaked underneath. I tried challenging myself a bit with this outfit just because I wanted to stand out somehow in a crowd of fashionistas...too bad I was in my coat the whole time because it was freezing that day! A for effort?
Crossing my fingers for warmer weather! Especially so I don't have to freeze during these shoots. Blogger struggles.

Style Tip: Make sure to wear a skinny belt to cinch the waist when layering a jumpsuit. Otherwise, the whole look will be too loose and the blouse will appear too long.
