So sorry for the delayed blog post! But if you've been following me on my Instagram @littlemaisunshine, then you'd know I just came back from my 5 day vacation in Cancun! It was honestly the best vacation I've been on and the perfect spring break getaway, as brief as it was. I wish I could tell you guys more about it but that would just take forever and I wouldn't be able to describe it enough to do my trip justice. But I will be posting more pictures on Instagram so be sure to follow me :)
And to add to my amazing vacation, I had the lovely surprise of seeing Selena Gomez wearing this same exact top recently!
How cool is that?! Selena and I are matching! Except I paired my Maggie Jeans top with different pair printed pants (although I do love the matching ensemble on Selena!).
If I haven't already emphasized it enough, pairing different prints is the new trend this season and what I particularly like about this outfit is that the material of both top and bottom is light and airy, perfect for the spring weather. The slouchy cardigan is also light and fun enough to bring together the different prints. And I've been looking for the perfect pair of platforms but for a reasonable price. So when I spotted these half-priced Topshop ones, I knew they were the one. I love the color and the style of them and they work with just about any spring outfit. In this particular outfit, it was a nice pop of color in contrast to the turquoise and grays.
Happy matching!
Ecstatically yours,
Mai Sunshine
Style Tip: Make sure not to overwhelm your prints by clashing colors. I paired a black and white print with the turquoise so it was still cohesive with the slouchy cardigan
