I've been known to be that girl with unconventional hair for an Asian. And I've learned to embrace it after a while but on days like these, I can never tame its wild ways. I tried my best to tame it, especially since the rain made it even more frizzy, but not going to lie Anthony did a pretty good job capturing my hair beautifully in the wind. A rarity in itself.
Anyways, I didn't even realize this entire outfit is like an ad for H&M until now...but I mean, with all its discounts and coupons and ongoing sales, it's hard not to just buy the entire store. And now that I think about it, this entire outfit was under $50 so I guess you can say I'm an avid H&M shopper. I was going to make do without the kimono but it pictured so nicely in the wind that I just had to incorporate it for a bit. This outfit works both with and without it but I liked that all the colors matched, which made it okay to wear despite its different print. I love the texture of the mint crop top and it paired perfectly with the navy and white printed skater skirt. Very girly but still casual. Honestly, I was simply playing around with different textures and prints with this look, while staying within the same colors. If you're not a fan of the kimono, the outfit still works without it but don't be afraid to try something new when playing dress up, you'd be surprised how it ends up looking good!
Thanks H&M for always being my go-to store for affordable pieces!
Overwhelmingly winded,
Mai Sunshine
Style Tip: The loud print of the kimono could have clashed with my printed skirt but since the colors were similar, it still matched in that sense. Otherwise the outfit would have looked better without the outerwear.
