I know, I know. I've been slacking on my blog posts and haven't been keeping you guys up to date with my style life. But what can I say? The summer lull is too real and I'm sure you guys can relate to my evidential laziness. Nonetheless, I will do my best to continue to uphold my fashion promise and continue to share my outfit ideas.

With that being said, this post is extra special because it happens to be my blog's first birthday! That's right, it's been one whole year since I've created this blog and embarked on fashion adventures that I've happily and graciously shared with you all. And man, has it been one hell of a year. I remember hesitantly starting this blog because I didn't think I was good enough to do what Aimee Song, Nicole Warne, and Chiara Ferragni did. But with a little push from my friends and a bit of self-confidence, I thought, why not? I have nothing to lose and I get to do what I love: style. Now here I am, 64 posts later, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I've found my passion and realized that fashion is my dream, all because I wanted to share what I know with everyone. So if you share the same passion as I do, don't be afraid to go for it. You'll be amazed at how much you'll learn and grow, but more importantly, you'll be fulfilling what you love doing most and that's a satisfaction worth pursuing.

I can't even begin to show my appreciation for all the supporters who've never stopped giving their love for this blog, for all the photographers who've taken time out of their days to capture my outfit ideas into beautiful pictures, for all the companies I've worked with so far who've noticed me and given me the chance to collaborate, for all the blogger friends I've made who've given me super helpful advice on how to grow and develop this blog...I mean, I'm probably missing a lot more but my point is, this blog wouldn't have made it to this significant mark in my blogging journey if it weren't for everyone's help. I can only go so far on my own, but it's these people who have made it possible to continue on towards an exciting future ahead. So thank you from the sincerest crevices of my heart because you guys helped me achieve a passionate goal of mine. 

It's not a birthday celebration without balloons and cake (well, I couldn't exactly bring a cake so balloons just had to do) and presents! It was coincidentally perfect to receive a little gift from TBdress and I absolutely love the dress they sent me. It's the perfect casual LBD with a bare sexy back to go frolicking in in an open grass field. And I love that it's chiffon material with thin straps since it's definitely a trend this summer. I kept the rest of the outfit simple with red feather earrings for a pop of color and strappy sandal wedges to match the earrings' boho vibe.
