Merry Christmas Eve, loves!

I can't believe it's the 24th already. This time each year, I'm usually in Canada with my extended family for a holiday reunion. Unfortunately, this year I'm stuck at home because of work and will miss out on seeing my family. But it's okay because it actually gives me a chance to celebrate with my friends for once since I consider them as family anyways. For instance, last night I had a girls night in with my blogger babes Lynn (of Neckbreakin' Style), Tina (of Tinaa Maria), and Mel (of Pursuit of Passion). I really needed it after a stressful couple of weeks and it was so nice to just unwind, relax, and chill with my girls. We all need those nights, right? So my Christmas week is not looking too bad after all despite the lack of family this year. Let me know how you usually celebrate the night before Christmas! It's always interesting to see how we spend the day differently.

Vintage finds are the best finds. As if I hadn't already stressed this enough in so many of my past posts. But you all know how much of a thrifty advocate I am so it should come to no surprise that I shall boast about this find. Except this time I didn't buy the top, I found it in the depths of one of my mother's many closets. Yeah, this top totally screams vintage but it was perfect for the occasion. Loud colors in an all-sequins top cannot scream holiday any more. It's just so fun and celebratory that I couldn't not style an outfit for it. Since the top is already extravagant, I toned it down with black leather leggings for texture and paired it with my classy pointed toe pumps. And the gold detailing on the heels matched perfectly with the equally metallic top. A fun holiday look to light up any room...like a walking disco ball.

I hope you're all enjoying your Christmas Eve with tons of food and family and love!

Forever,
Mai Sunshine
