The Holiday Series: Leather Edge

Hi! Welcome back to day 2 of my Holiday outfit series! I'm actually really excited to share these pictures with you because they came out exactly how I imagined the concept would be. It was a bit difficult to get the lighting correctly because the string lights were the only source of light we were getting so I had to make sure they were wrapped as much around me as I could so I wasn't hidden in the dark. Chris managed it perfectly while still capturing the details of the outfit. And don't worry, those lights weren't as dangerous as it seems other than the fact that my big hair kept getting caught...but that's own damn fault.
Sequin skirts are the most fun to wear during the holiday season. It's probably the only time you can wear it without looking too gaudy or overdone. That, and the lights reflect so nicely against the sequins making you simply shine throughout the night. And if they don't bring out that inner party girl out (that is, if it's not out already), then I don't know what does other than alcohol. I decided to pair mine with a leather dress that I actually tucked in the skirt to make a faux top. It added a bit of edge to the sequin skirt. I topped it off with my white boyfriend blazer to lighten up the chic look.

Only 2 more days until Christmas and I'm still not done with my holiday goodies! One of my favorite things to do is make Christmas cards. Why buy generic ones when you can spend a little extra time on a cute personalized ones with a heart-warming letter inside? Follow me on Instagram @littlemaisunshine to see what I made! And feel free to share some ideas as well :)
See you tomorrow for outfit #3 of the Holiday Series!
Glittered and glammed,
